committed to the promotion of gender equality in Bangladesh. We aim to provide an unbiased platform for all people to tell their stories, to advocate for women’s rights, to promote uniform access to opportunities and raise awareness on gender based violence.
Unlearning Gender
Traditional definitions of gender are based on economic, social, cultural, and political attributes and opportunities. These are then reproduced through different institutions and systems. To enable societies and individuals to start challenging these definitions, the first step is to conciously “unlearn” these concepts of gender.

Our team has over 40 years of combined experience in research, consultancy, and training. We engage in long-term partnerships, facilitate training and dialogues, and organise awareness events on how these gender-based stereotypes limit our potentials to live fulfilling lives.
